Question
Hi
i have a AMI/ ROW Jukebox model# r89 year 1985. It's been passed down in excellent condition and would like to know the approximate value.

Answer
Hi Nelson,

The guide value on this juke is 200.00 wholesale to 900.00 retail in a dealers shop so If you were selling it in the paper I would guess that you should be able to ask and get around $600.00 for a good working game room type jukebox like this. Restored retail price guide value and refurbished retail value is the same on this jukebox and is listed as $900.00. So your market is in finding someone who wants a good jukebox to store and play records on in a game room or retail location. On jukebox's like this I see them selling from $400.00 to $600.00 range. Where you see the high values on collectible jukebox's is with the models where you can see the record being selected, moved to the turntable, and played, and returned. I hope this has answered your questions and if you have any others just let me know, Nelson and we will get them answered.

Thank You!

Sincerely
Rodger Knutson

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
