As with all things, looking at pictures is not as good as actually handling the object. Question
My wife recently found this table in the trash.just curious about it.
Answer
mersman made thousands of tables during their run from 1876 to 1995. it is an interesting history to read.
your table is from the 60s and as you can see is in need of stripping an finishing. the wood looks to be sweet gum. the cost of refinising would be around 250 in a good shop, around 125 in a hungry shop, which would make the table worth 250.
it is a nice form.
