Question
I have  an old coin  bowling  machine  Made by Acme Co  out of Poughkeepsie  New York  Probably in the late 1930s  You roll wooden balls  down a ramp  to  various  holes with scores  and  a rotating barrel  to obtain  scores   it  needs some repair to enable the scoring mach. to  work.  Any idea  as to where  I can  get  info   on how to repair ?   Thanks   Lloyd

Answer
Hi Lloyd,

I have a link here that will be very helpful for you, it's:

http://www.marvin3m.com/bowl/index.htm

You will find many links from there for parts, repair, and supples, even manuals I believe. Does this game of yours have a name on it anywhere? If you can locate a name for this game, I might be able also, to see if I can find you some history or value information on it. I think your really going to enjoy the link above, as it should very helpful to you, and take you everywhere you need to go on working on your bowling game.

Thank You and Merry Christmas!

Sincerely

Rodger Knutson

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
