Question
I have the back glass of a rocket bowler game from chicago coin in a would frame that looks like it had two hinges on it ( 1 still on it ) its in real good shape - yet I cannot find a year these were made or what they would be worth or any other info on this - can you help?

Answer
Hi Jeff,

I can help you a little on this OK? Maybe I can, but I show a Rocket Bowler being made by Bally and made, and first released in June of 1954 and it was a electro/mechanical Shuffle alley game. Chicago Coin could of made one also but I don't have anything on it. As for Value, there is going to be two markets if any at all, your going to find, one market would be for the guy that is looking for a back glass because his is broken, but ball bowlers are not very valuable so maybe 100.00 to 150.00 if one is really needed bad. The other market will just be for something that looks really neat on the wall and is a original neat old game glass and maybe then about 50 to 75.00 dollars. All I can really do here is make an educated guess as there is not a large market on just glass, so it's mostly what you can get out of it. This is probably not a lot of help but if it's a Bally and not a Chicago Coin, then you have your information. I wouldn't think if it is a Chicago Coin, that it would make the value any different.

Hope it helps you some.

Sincerely

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
