Answer
Hi Dennis,

You don't see a lot of Packard's trade so value is not a firm value, it's just based on the few that are seen trading, I ran into this also on a Gable that I almost bought but didn't. The value for yours completely restored, as new and retail looks to be around $5,500.00 in 2008, and refurbished and retail value of $3,200.00. After that we get to an average knocked up working box with a wholesale value a dealer might offer you which is $900.00. That is all the information I as as to value right now without finding some same models as yours trading out there to find current value. I hope this helps you some, there is not a true value blue book, only trend and guide values to give us some idea of what it could bring in perfect waters, but as you know things are not good right now and everything is dropping to some degree as fun money goes away. This information is for the 1947 Packard PLA-MOR.

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
