About Rodger Knutson
Expertise
I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience
I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!

Question
I have an old jukebox.  If I wanted to try and restore what are some good sources for parts and direections ?

Also are there companies that will restore for a price ?

Thanks

Answer
Hi Boyce,

There are lots of sites on the INTERNET and a magazine loaded with parts and people who restore jukebox's. It's a almost big business and it's all a lot of fun! Here are a few sites to get yo started in the right direction:

http://alwaysjukin.storesecured.com/

http://www.jukebox-parts.com/

http://www.jukeboxparts.com/

http://www.victoryglass.com/

Or another Magazine:
A Monthly Magazine Style publication (8.5" x 11") which usually has a gloss, color cover. A jukebox magazine that includes feature articles, a recent Market Summary (listed prices of Jukeboxes over last few months), Display ads for shows, parts, services, records, Classified Want and For Sale Ads for Jukeboxes etc and sells books, manuals and miscellaneous Jukebox related items. . Yearly Subscription is approximately 30+ USD and Foreign Subscriptions available. Payment by Check, VISA and Mastercard.
