I purchased this about 25 yrs. ago, I was told that it was
over 90 yrs. old at that time. To my knowledge this is all
its original fabric, trims. It does have wear on the arms.
The back carvings are still in good condition, no breakage
that I can see at all. The matching stool is also in very
good repair. I have no idea what the name or style of this
might be. I want to sell the set but don't know how to research it without knowing a bit more about it. Thank you for ANY help you might be able to give me.
Answer good morning CJ
you have an Eastlake rocker and stool - looks to be in very nice condition, most likely made of mahogany
go to goantiques.com and you will probably be able to find something similar, they also have links to appraisers
good luck
