QUESTION: Hello,
I got this lovely table at a sale and would like to know the age, style and value, if possible.
I do know that it is at least 46 years old. It is stamped on the bottom of the drawer.
Thank you for your help! IMAGE: Mersman table

QUESTION: I apologize for that wrong picture. I was trying to attach 2 and apparently got the one of the drawer bottom.
I am attaching one of the entire table! I hope this picture is good enough.
The drawer bottom is stamped 7211 and also has the number 17.
Again, thank you for your help.
Answer much better, thanks
you have a round mahogany (sometimes called a tambour) table with a lyre base - it's too new to be classified as an antique but it is a beautiful example of post WWII factory made furniture
do not use anything with silicone in it to clean it as this will cause the top to craze (many very fine cracks in the top surface - I would use a good quality paste ( I use Butchers in my studio)wax to maintain it
good luck
