About Rodger Knutson
Expertise
I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience
I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!

Question
Hello,  I purchased a late 1940,s Genco Fortune Teller Machine and know nothing about it.  The machine was supposed to be Completely restored however when it arrived the wiring was disconnected inside.  Is there any way I could get a wiring diagram or schematic?  The red light lights but that's about it.  Thanks,

Answer
Hi Dennis,

Boy, this is a tough one, I don't know where to find one but I would think it's a e/m, (electro/Mechanical) so I can show you to a site for repair information on e/m stuff which might help a lot, it's at

http://www.pinrepair.com/em/index1.htm

and who knows maybe they can help you with you schematics? Here is another site that would be better for finding sales flyer's and schematics for your fortune teller:

http://marvin3m.com/arcade/gypsy.htm

You don't say what the name of your model of fortune teller is but there are several here and this is just one of them:

http://marvin3m.com/arcade/gypsy.htm

Depending on your model, I would bet that this is the place for you to find the Schematic, wiring diagram, sales flyer's, and what ever else you might find on your machine, GREAT STUFF HERE!! Enjoy the ride back through history Dennis.
Cheers
Rodger Knutson
