About Rodger Knutson
Expertise
I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience
I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!

Collectibles-General (Antiques) - pinball machine value

Expert: Rodger Knutson - 6/24/2009

Question
I was wondering the value of a couple pinball machines I have aquired from a relative. One is a Chicago Coin Riviera serial #3840. Another is a royal flush #19207, and the last is a Gotlieb Sinbad, which is orange.  They were all probably 60's or 70's.  I will try to get a picture to you tomorrow if possible.

Answer
Hi Jon,

I'll try to get to one or more of your pinball games now as I just got caught up on other questions. I know I asked you to submit them one at a time but sense you only really want value, I'll try to do them all here.

Chicago Coins Riviera made in 1973, a 4 player game and they made Over 8,210 of these units! Wow, that is a lot of them. Value $400.00.

Royal Flush by (maybe Gottlieb?) please let me know who made this machine as Chicago coin made one, gottlieb made them and Maresa (Spain) all made a royal flush model.

Gottlieb's Sinbad made in 1978, both models are 4 player games. There are two different machine models here, One is Electronic, meaning it has circuit boards, and the other is Electro/Mechanical meaning it does not have circuit boards. The electronic model has a value of $550.00 and they made 11,000 units. The Electro/Mechanical model has a value of $750.00 and they made 950 units of this one.

Please get back to me on the manufacture of that Royal Flush pinball and I'll provide you with that information as soon as we know who made her. Also, please don't forget to rate me on my answers as that is my sole payment for doing this service, thank you Jon!

Cheers
