QUESTION: cant get pix up but the outside case is down to a tan with the brown letters

Answer
Don,
Most of the pulver's were porcelain.  However for a brief period the pulver company sold painted cases in either yellow or red.  With age the red cases often turn a shade of brown.  I'm assuming that is what you have.  It is better to leave antique's as is and let a collector decide how to clean or restore a machine.  Many collectors prefer original condition vs. restored.  I also need to know how tall the case is to give a value.  Can you measure the height?
