Collectibles-General (Antiques) - Dresser

Expert: robert klein - 7/7/2009

Question
my mom has this dresser, she knows its about 60 plus years she grew up with it, it had been stripped, im just curious  about it cause i cant find any info on it on the back it says, No. 5081 CEM Wiartun, i hope you may have some info on it thank you

Answer
Maybe it says Wiarton, which is in Ontario?  It has the earmarks of being built in Canada in the 40s-50s and is a maple washstand.  There is not any more I can tell you from the picture.  I would be curious to see a picture of the side of the drawer where it meets the front of the drawer.

Hope this helps
