Collectibles-General (Antiques) - crock jug

Expert: DR. ROBERT LERCH - 7/7/2009

Question
My husband purchased a brown jug with the name H. N. Joffee, Rochester, N.Y. on it. It is approx. 7 in tall with a 6 in. diameter bottom. Has one handle. Can you tell us any thing about the jug,who the person might be,when made, possible value?
Thank you for any help you can give us.

Answer
without a pic its a little hard, but based on its size and design i can tell you it is not a valuable jug.....if you want to get a better idea of what crocks or jugs are valuable....take a look at crocker auctions and see what they sell and the prices reached at auction...thanks
