This desk has a top that folds back and a shelf that pulls out. It measures 34 wide by 20 deep by 35 high. The label is for HP Robertson Company, Jamestown NY. Could you tell me an approxamate value of this desk. Thank you very much!
Answer This is a spinet desk with mahogany veneer on the show faces and the case wood is most likely sweet gum or tulip poplar. the legs should screw into the top section.
made around 1920 and in the condition sells in a shop for 450-650. The stain used is a cordovan mahogany which is a ten dollar work for red-black.
