Answer This is a spinet desk with mahogany veneer on the show faces and the case wood is most likely sweet gum or tulip poplar. the legs should screw into the top section.
made around 1920 and in the condition sells in a shop for 450-650. The stain used is a cordovan mahogany which is a ten dollar work for red-black.
