Question Dear Larry,
I have a pinball machine that was in my great-grandfather's pharmacy in Columbus, Ohio between the 1930's-1940's. It is non-electronic and before flippers. It is called "Super Ball." The plunger is used to aim the ball left or right. When the ball is fired, it bounces off of nails that are by cups that have different point values. There were 10 balls for a penny with a gold ball worth double. You had to add up your own score. There is no manufacturer listed anywhere on the machine. It is wooden framed, on wooden legs, with a glass top. It has a lock, we have the original key; no information listed inside either. I would like to find out information about it and its approximate value.
Answer Hi Rebecca, I have no record of a pinball by that name. As you describe it, the game would date from 1931-32. These early games a very simple and do not have a high collector value. Based on the information you've given, I would say the value is around $300. Larry www.coinoplibrary.com
