Question

Hope this picture is better. I just want to know anything about this vanity? Even if it is a vanity and there is no mirror, the two top drawers are higher than the side drawers which makes me wonder. I have been told it's over 100 yrs. old it has been painted white. Thanks Robert!

Answer
This piece is from 1920s-1930s. It did have a mirror, probably round. It most likely is veneered under all the paint. Usually part of a set and had a vanity bench or chair with it.Veneer could be walnut or mahogany or a combination piece with several species of wood. You might be able to look on the back and see marks and screw holes where the mirror braces were attached. Also, if you choose to refinish it, once you see the wood, you might be able to find a suitable mirror and frame for it.
 Good Luck,
 Rob
