Question

wall table & mirror
Hi
I purchase a home full of furniture including a wall table & mirror said to be from the Washington DC White house 1950's-the 60's .Can you tell me how I can research these items ?
Thanks Tony

Answer
You might try and contact the White House and see if they have a historian on staff. There could also be some photographic records of the items. The bottom line is unless the items are marked or have something that proves they were White House property, the best you can do is to prove they look like items that were in the WH.
 Good Luck with your search,
