Collectibles-General (Antiques) - Dale Gun Target Gallery ESCO

Expert: Chad Boekelheide - 9/27/2009

Question
I HAVE A 48 OR 49 DALE GUN "TARGET GALLERY" PRODUCED BY EXHIBIT SUPPLY, IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION.THIS IS A TALL FLOOR MODEL THAT USED MIRRORS TO CREATE THE ILLUSIONS OF A VERY LONG SHOOTING RANGE.THE PISTOL VIBRATES WHEN IT IS SHOT. IT HAS A BLUE TIN FRONT. IT IS MISSING THE PLATE ON THE TOP, BUT OTHERWISE COMPLETE AND IN GOOD,WORKING ORIGINAL CONDITION. ANY IDEA ON THE VALUE AND WHAT MIGHT BE THE BEST AVENUE TO SELL THE ITEM.

Answer
Chad,

I have seen the Dale Gun machine sell for a few hundred up to several hundred.  Condition is a big factor in the value.  It is hard to give a specific price without pictures, but that should give you a ball park value.  Ebay or craiglist are good places to sell.  You could also check with your local antique stores.

Good Luck,
Chad
