Collectibles-General (Antiques)/Ferguson Furniture

Question
I recently found a folding chair with a sticker in gold and burgundy with the name Ferguson. The bottom of the sticker states Treasured Furniture since 1875.  I've been trying to locate info. with no success.  Patent No. (looks like) 2211.881 or 2.2H.88 It's difficult to read.  Any information is appreciated.

Answer
I couldn't find any information on this company. If the label has a city, you could contact the library or historical society in that place to get information. The patient number you gave me was assigned to a patient for a "bushing" so unless that number is a design patient or does it even say "Patient #" on it? Could it be just a serial number? Sorry to leave you with no answers.
Good Luck in your search,
 Rob
