Question
I am wondering. I bought a Weywood Wakefield Baby Buggy at an antique show. The wicker is in very good condition. The material is dirty stained but all there with minimal damage if any. One of the rubber wheels is missing about an inch and the rest of the wheel rubber is all there but a little warped. There is a reference plate on the inside bottom and the original paper "Do Not Remove This Tag" attached to the outside with original wire. Can you give me any ballpark at to what something like that is worth. Thanks Tuesday Chesser
I am not a collector of this sort of item but I have a granddaughter that I think would like to push it around the house. Do you know where i might get some lining for it. Don't really have the extra time to make it.

Answer
The lining for this would have to be made. Many of the buggies used corduroy as the material. The rubber for the tires is not available anywhere to my knowledge. You would probably need to find a subtile replacement and glue it in place.
I see these carriages from $50. up to $100. ,it just depends on the year of manufacturing and design.
 Thanks for your question,
