Question
Is there a manual available for this machine?  The one I have works well except it has no bobbin.  I also think the key that would hold the bobbin in place might have the tip broken off.  Any info you could provide would be helpful.  Thank you in advance.

Answer
Hello Anne,
Thank you for your query.
I do not have a manual for the Betsy Ross.  I do have the threading instructions which I would be happy to forward to you if these would be helpful.
As to parts - I have no idea where you could obtain these, sorry.  You might want to contact a collector organization called Toy Stitchers International --- http://toystitchers.tripod.com/
If you need threading instructions, please send an email to me at:  xtahoeviews@yahoo.com and please be sure to state in the subject column, Threading Instructions for Betsy Ross.
Regards,
Irene

Expertise

I have been a collector of antique sewing tools and thimbles for over 30 years. I am also a dealer in this field and sell on eBay under the name -- serengeti2. I am NOT, and I repeat NOT an expert on antique or vintage domestic household sewing machines used for everyday home sewing. I can offer help when it comes to TOY or miniature collectible sewing machines ONLY.
