Question
i have  a 1961 gottlieb aloha 2 player em machine it is in good shape and works. there are only 8 registered currently on internet pinball data. what is the worth

Answer
Hi again William,

Thanks for your very good feedback, as for the pinball data base, it's a very good web site, and one we all can use with tons of information being compiled every day, but if you just see 8 machines listed there, that is all that have volunteered to send them information for there files, and what information they have compiled so far about this model. It does not mean that there are only eight Aloha machines in the world. If that were true there would be no value listed on it because you would not be able to see them sell often enough to find the average value of it. Also, value is based on units sold and for how much, and this is the average price that these tracked sales have shown. It is not a blue book, just a guide as to value. These are getting older every day and you can ask for any price you want for it. Value is really what the seller is willing to sell it for, and what the buyer is willing to pay for it.

I hope this helps a little further, I would like to say that your machine is worth 5,000.00 but it's not true, and when you couldn't sell it for that you would want to know where the heck I got my information. So, I try to give you the most current and true information about it as possible so that you can proceed from there with it.

Thanks again William

Sincerely

Hi William,

Your Gottlieb Aloha was made in 1961 as you said, and Gottlieb made 1,700 units of this model that year. This is a two player pinball machine and has a average value of $375.00, but at $450.00 it might just sell. This is guide value and you can always ask for what you think it is worth, as a perfect Play field will increase it's value fast, add nice glass to this and you have a nice valued game. I hope this answers all your questions, as I always aim for perfect feedback here at allexperts, if you have other questions please feel free to ask.

Thank You
Sincerely
Rodger Knutson

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
