Collectibles-General (Antiques) - identify scale

Question
Can you tell me about this scale?

Answer
Hi Terrald,

Your Toledo scale was most likely manufactured in the 1940s. It is a counting scale which is missing its 3 pans.  It would have been used to count many parts by the weight of say ten pieces.
These scales were used to count such things as nails, screws and other small parts.

Hope this helps.
