Bally 1090 Slot Machine value guide
Bally 1090 Slot Machin
ANSWER: Hi Bob,

WOW!, what a good looking Bally Model 1090 slot machine. I really love these guys, this model the 1090 is a find working Electro/Mechanical slot machine, one of my favorites. Unfortunately the values on the average have drifted down some, but of an average value I see these trade from around 800.00 to 1,200.00 dollars and it all depends on how long you can take to find a buyer and how you go about selling it. Yours is a fine looking machine and I think it will sell well. There is a Value guide and I'll attach that information for you to this answer for the Bally Model 1090. I hope this will answer all your questions, if not please write back Bob.

Thank You
Sincerely

QUESTION: Roger,

Thanks for the info. The value guide you attached is for a dollar machine. Mine is a quarter machine. Would the value be the same or slightly lower?

Bob

Answer
Hi Bob,

Yes I know it was a dollar model but they are just trying to list a 1090 model and that happened to be a dollar game, the 1090 is the model number and covers all 1090 machines, then you get to the M1090-"???" after the model number and this is the part of the model number that refers to game types, reel strip numbers and maybe even percentage amount, in the Ballys confidential information, and maybe even coin amount but I am not sure about that. Anyway in answer to you question, you Quarter machine is about as good as it gets, most everyone wants a quarter machine in these models, I kind of like the dollars as there easy to play, great if you have bad hands and make a lot of noise! Bit, value wise you want what you have, a quarter machine. If the values are correct in todays market, which I think there a little high, but the quarter will be easer to sell, therefor worth a hundred or so more then any other coin amount I would figure. In Ballys Model number tags, sometimes on top of the tag stamped by hand or three sets of numbers like(09 top left,14 top center, 78 top right) If you see this on you model number tag, it is the exact day of it's manufacture of that machine, 09-14-78 say. Just a little more information for you.
Thank You

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
