Question
i am so intrigued by this type of wood. I have the opportunity to
purchase a full size bed, low vanity with mirror, petite desk and chair, bed side table, dresser. what is a fair asking price? It is all in good condition, not perfect and i was told made in the late 1800's. how do i tell if it a veneer overlay? Does that change the pricing? thank you so much for any info. on this type
of furniture and pricing. i can send pictures if that helps. in the ball park estimates are ok... suzy borg
Most Birds-Eye furniture is veneered. The value of this type of maple makes it to expensive to use solid wood. Without some pictures and a general location of what part of the country you are located, because prices differ around the country, I can't give you any value.
