QUESTION: Hello, Tom. Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. Here is the picture of
the Tom's Machine that I can't seem to figure out how to access the coin box. I
appreciate your help. Thank you and best wishes, Mari

Answer
Mari,
The model that I have is more like a Stoner candy machine. I have seen this particular model but have never examined closely. My only suggestion which you mave have already tried is to open with the key the glass front and bottom door and then put a coin in and see if you see or hear where it goes.
If that does not work, I am going to a jukebox/pinball/advertising show in 2 weeks in Chicago area and I have seen this model machine there in past shows. With any luck, someone will have one for sale and I can check it out. If you would just write me again in about 3 weeks.

Expertise

I am able to answer questions on old coin operated machines. These include vending machines such as gumball or peanut or other machines such as trade stimulators that did not dispense a product but were positioned on a store's counter to bring in customers or stimulate trade. I specialize in machines by Pulver, Zeno, and Mansfield and also any old cast iron or wood machines.

Experience

I have been collecting these type of machines for about 10 years and have traveled the country to antique shows and auctions.

Organizations
Coin operated collectors association

Education/Credentials
I have learned about many of these machines from traveling to view the collections of others.
