2 Vintage thimbles with advertising for:
Fort Morgan Mills- Golden Sunshine Flour
1 Vintage tape Measure from: Fashion Frocks Inc

Any insight as to their value would be greatly appreciated.
AnswerHello Terry. Needle packets are collectible but since they were made in mass quantities they don't have an awful lot of value. Plus condition (papers not worn and needles complete) must be mint for a collector to want to add a certain packet to their collection. There are a few books out on general sewing items, but your best bet to determine value of your packets is to search ebay for recent selling prices. If your thimbles are aluminum advertising thimbles. In mint condition (not misshapen, no holes and band paint not worn), they would probably bring around $5-8. If they are plastic, they are worth about $3-5, if in great condition. The tape measure, if in working condition, would probably bring about $5-8. You may want to take your items to a local antiques dealer for better insight, as it's very difficult to give you values without seeing the items. Hope I've helped. Barbara
