Question
My question is that I have a 1982 Ballys nickel slot machine serial number E-1237-3 that came out of a casino. How can I tell which casino it came out of? Thanks for your help--Rob

Answer
Hi Rob,

If you can find any information scribbled inside or if the casino didn't have there own Named glass put on the machine, there is not going to be any way to find out who owned it or where it was placed in service. I do have some old Bally records for the 1964 Plus Model 742's but this is all that I have found so far as to who or what company bought the original machines. I have never found anything on the Bally Electronics except what the machine were according to there model numbers, and some of the original selling prices. Sorry I don't know where to find this information that your looking for or where to suggest to try to find this.

Thank You

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
