Question
QUESTION: Hi Rodger, I have a problem with my machine the tilt fault on the front remains on after reset which will not allow the machine to work. I checked the coin out, no jammed coins checked behind the hopper knife. I made sure the optic sensor is clean. After several resets or I'm not sure why it will reset and allow play for a couple of spins then "Tilt again"  any ideas???

Mike

ANSWER: Hi Mike,

Can you tell me what error code it was giving you in the winners paid led display? I see it does reset but tilts again on future plays, the error code will really help pin point this problem.
Thanks

QUESTION: Hi Rodger, The error code that comes up is (2) it goes from 2 to 5 but I think the 5 is the last coins played. It does not actually reset and allow play it takes about 30 times and not sure what allows it but you will hear a lock sound near the coin insert and then it will work a couple of pulls then Tilt again. I noticed it does not pay out even though the hopeer is full. I'm a bit familiar with this type for my dad used to have a similiar one years ago. I'm going to get a manual not quite sure which is the right one. I guess the E-2000 series will cover it?

Answer
As you know Mike, this is a big problum and hard to help you via email. It does sound to me like you can finaly get your machine to reset, and that is a very good sign. You need to look over the manuals on this machine now before going much firther on it. On the error codes, once the door is opened after the tilt, your error code is gone forever, so first write it down! After the door is opened your true error code will be replaced with a 50 on the left side, 50 is a door open code, and will be followed with the winner paid amount if any. So, reset your machine again and when it tilts, stop! And write down just what code the machine gives you BEFORE OPENING THE DOOR, as once the door is opened the error code is gone forever OK? We need to know what the error code is. When you get it, please come back and let me know what the winners paid LED is giveing you for a code Mike.

Thank You

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
