Question

Overall View
I've been given a very complete Walnut (or Old Oak) Standard Sewing Machine with all the parts, Manual and Warrant.  It has a Plate next to the needle that says, "Pat. Per 584", "#117342", "July 6 189?".  Tools, Complete Bobbin Box and Other Machine Parts along with Original Manual. In the Manual is a Local News Article dated January 14th, 1901 re: Small Pox. I have a number of photos attached (I hope).

Answer
Hello Stephen,
Thank you for your query but unfortunately I cannot be of assistance to you. When it comes to sewing machines, my expertise is only in the antique toy or miniature variety.
If you will take a moment to look back through my Q & A's you will however find numerous links to other websites that may be of assistance to you.
Regards,
Irene

Expertise

I have been a collector of antique sewing tools and thimbles for over 30 years. I am also a dealer in this field and sell on eBay under the name -- serengeti2. I am NOT, and I repeat NOT an expert on antique or vintage domestic household sewing machines used for everyday home sewing. I can offer help when it comes to TOY or miniature collectible sewing machines ONLY.
