Question
I have a Gottlieb Playmate pinball machine.  Its in 100% working order with minor scratches on the exterior woodwork in spots.  I want to sell it but dont know what would be the right price to ask for it.  Do you have any advice on a price it might be worth?

Answer
Hi Tim,

I believe this is Playmates with the "s"? Made and first cam out in December of 1968. They made or produced only 500 of these units! A very low run of machines but it doesn't seam to matter much in it's value which is $575.00 in average good working condition as of 2010. A one player pinball machine and only 500 made in 1968. The trend value shows this price as stable and not going up or down. This is a guide value, and means only that the average selling price of this machine see selling. Some sell for more and some for less.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thanks

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
