Question
hi Irene, I've got a vulcan minor sewing machine i was just wondering if its worth anything.
Its red, made in England, it has raised yellow letters on it saying Vulcan at the top and minor at the bottom, it has a metal handle with a ivory nob to turn it, i also have the original box and instruction manual and a clamp to fix it to tables etc.

Answer
Hello Debs,
Toy sewing machines in excellent condition are always collectible but they do not necessarily bring high prices unless they are rare or very early ones.
The Vulcan Minor complete with all attachments, box, manual etc. and in excellent condition values at around $100 - $150.
Regards,
Irene

Expertise

I have been a collector of antique sewing tools and thimbles for over 30 years. I am also a dealer in this field and sell on eBay under the name -- serengeti2. I am NOT, and I repeat NOT an expert on antique or vintage domestic household sewing machines used for everyday home sewing. I can offer help when it comes to TOY or miniature collectible sewing machines ONLY.
