Question

Star amusements machin
I have an old star amusements co. penny machine, can you tell me about it and if possible the value?

Answer
Hi Patrick,

Well so far I haven't came up with anything on it. I do know that Star amusements Company did make coin operated machines and have been able to find information on three of there games, but nothing on yours yet. I know I have never seen this machine but there are so many different types of machines it's possible that I could of over looked it. Is there any date on it any where? By the knob and the (is that a little light above the knob?) light I would guess it was a later machine possibly late 40's to 50's maybe. Most of these machines of this type sell on average for a few hundred dollars, maybe 150.00 to 350.00. I had to get to answer you right away so I haven't had time to search all my information to see if I could find anything on it at all. I'll keep looking and let you know what I find on it when I do.

Thank You

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
