Question

coke cooler
I recently acquired a commercial coke cooler. Has refrigiration unit in bottom, cooler pipes up to "tank" and pump in tank. manufactured by westinghouse in Chicopee Falls Mass. serial # 3313284. Would like to know approximate year of manufacture. Picture is attached.
Thank you

Answer
Hi William,

I don't answer soda machine questions as I don't deal in them. My book only dates this as produced in the mid 30's to Mid 40s, if this is the same machine, and it looks like it is. Holds 144 bottles, 35 1/4 inches high, 41 & 3/4 inches wide, by 25 1/4 deep. Also has room for 135 pounds of cracked ice in the tank. average condition value is 200.00 and fully restored it value is listed as 800.00.

Thank You

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
