Collectibles-General (Antiques)/1948 Seeburg Jukebox Restore
Expert: Rodger Knutson - 2/26/2010
QuestionI have a 1948 Seeburg Jukebox that works, but needs to be restored. Cosmetically, she's in rough shape and the previous owner (my grandfather) removed the coin operations. My dad and I are interested in restoring the jukebox, but didn't really know where to start - other that searching the Internet. I read a previous posting from Rodger Knutson, about the same model jukebox, that stated "...if you do decide to restore it yourself, I can help give you a few contacts for used parts, books, restoration guides, and reproduction parts...". I am wondering if that information might still be available?
