Answer

1962 Gottlieb Fashion
Hi Jim,

First thing you might want to do, is find a manual for this game. I did a quick search for a manual on ebay and didn't find one but found a few things, you can see this here:

http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_kw=GOTTLIEB&_kw=FASHION&_kw=SHOW&_kw=PINBALL

I only work on just a couple of pinballs, I send pinball machines to a friend, Dave at classic amusements in silver lake Washington, that knows them well, he send slot repairs to me. So I have never work on this model of pinball, and can't help you there.

If you do a search for pinball manuals on goggle I am almost certain you can find one. If it's been sitting for a long time, you need to clean every connector in the game first. To locate the fuse block, just lift the play field up and you will see it in there. Also it could be that the operators power switch is turned off, these are normally located under the machine so the location could turn the machine off at night without opening the machine, look for this as this might be why you don't have power.

Your Fashion Show Pinball game was released for sale in June of 1962, a two player game, they made 2,675 units and todays value for a working game in average condition is $500.00. You can find more information about this game at: http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=825

Thank You!

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
