i'm 82 yrs of age and have many many antique buttons my mother startied collecting during the depression when she opened up a second hand store to help make ends meet..... that would be around 1931 and i remember the old smells of boxes when i spent days in  the shop...being in kc, mo. are there any conventions nearby or clubs for me to show all these cases and boxes of intricate buttons?  thanks for your help

Hello Lois.  What a lovely collection you must have!  I don't know anything about buttons, myself, but a quick search on Google for "button collectors" revealed many sites that you may want to investigate.  There are also books out on the subject that may provide information on collecting clubs in your area.  Check with your local library or book store or even Amazon.com for titles.  Good luck with your search.  Barbara
