Question
Here is a pic of an old rocker I have. Would like to know the age of it...was thinking early 1900s. Has original white wash paint that is coming off. in good shape.

I think your right on the age. It needs to be restored and any materials replaced. I'm not sure if was painted or not, I would tend to say not because the paint shouldn't peel off like that. It's not "white wash", just white paint. I don't give values or such in this forum because values differ around the country. It's worth restoring if you wish to keep it.

| Comment | Thanks, I was suggesting white wash because it has a lime that shows on your hands when you touch it. Something used in dairy barns on the walls. I will probably keep it anyway. | ||
