Question
Hi Larry,  In the mid-to-late-1960's, my cousin Ed and I played a pinball machine called COSMO.  I don't remember the make, just the quirky fact that there were Pods you'd try to light up. We played this game more than any other in our early romps, and I'd love to know if you can tell me anything about it - - the year, the manufacturer, and where, ultimately I might be lucky enough to find one to play (or to buy). I am still looking for my revenge - - it was a machine that was VERY tough to beat. Thanks!! Keith

Answer
Hi Keith, You're talking about Bally Cosmos.  It came out in January of 1969.  The theme was space travel and each player would get bonus points for filling up his "fuel" pod.  bally made over 2000 of them so there should be some available, although the older Ballys seem harder to find.  You should be able to find one for under $500(don't ask me where!).   Good luck!   Larry
