Question
I have a Bally Royal Draw, (2) Jumbo Parade 5 cent machines and a 25 cent Jumbo Parade machine.  I have tried desprately to get an idea of the value on these machines.  I saw the Jumbo Parade 5 cent for sale for $2,500.00.  The Bally Royal Draw I cannot find any infomration whatsoever on this slot.  Even slot machine dealers haven't seen it.  Can you help me with values on these?  It would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
The Royal Draw is an oddball machine which you don't see that often. Even though it is oddball I don't think it is worth a lot. There is just not a lot of demand for those big console machines.

The Jumbo Parade machines are fairly common. $2,500 is way too high, in my opinion.

Too see what Jumbo Paraders have actually sold for, go to www.AntiqueSlotMachinePriceGuide.com

The Jumbo Parade was made by Mills.

I might know someone who would be interested in buying the Royal Draw. I don't know of anyone who would be interested in the Jumbo Parade.

If you are interested in selling the Royal Draw, send me an email (Dave@IBuyOldSlots.com) and I will give the the email of the guy who might be interested.

Expertise

My expertise is in the area of antique slot machines. Specifically pre 1940 era machines. I have an extensive price history list of slot machines that have been sold on eBay and other auction houses (e.g., Victoria Casino Auctions, Rich Penn Auctions, etc.). PLEASE, do not send questions about anything that is not coin-op related. I have no expertise in other items and cannot help you.

Experience

1. I run a discussion forum on coin operated devices (http://www.coinopcollectorforum.com) 2. I maintain a web site which tracks price trends for antique slot machines (www.AntiqueSlotMachinePriceGuide.com) 3. I published an 8 hour video tape on how to properly restore a Mills slot machine back in the 1990s 4. I published a book (Coin Op On CD) which was distibuted on a CD. This CD had many articles and thousands of photos of antique coin operated devices. It also had many videos of rare and unusual coin operated devices. This CD has since been published on the web (http://www.ibuyoldslots.com/COCD/) 5. I have written articles on how to identify fake/reproduction slot machines.
