HI, I PICKED UP THESE SCISSORS THE OTHER DAY. I THOULD I WOULD COME HOME AND ASK FAMILY OR NEIGHBORS WHAT THEY ARE FOR. NOBODY KNOWS! MARKED KLEENCUT U.S.A.,BLADES 2 1/2", HANDLES 3 1/2". HAS A SCREW IN SPRING STYLE GUARD ON INSIDE OF ONE BLADE. THANX.

Hello Stephanie. Kleencut continues to make scissors to this day. Perhaps a letter to the company, with a picture, will help you with your search for information on the scissors in question. I've not come across them in any of the sewing tools books so they may not be intended for sewing. Sorry I can't be of more help. Barbara
