Hello, When I look up sewing baskets, I don't sem to find much ifo on this type. Would like to know age and are they common?

Hello Jeff. Sewing baskets, like the one you sent a picture of, are quite common and very plentiful, which is probably why you are unable to find information. Many were "repurposed" from other uses, could be handmade and usually unmarked to help date. Yours would be more contemporary based on the thread posts and fabric used in the lining.
