Question

sewing
Hello i have a domestic vibrator sewing machine that i peddle operated that came out of BERRY COLLEGE MY GRANDMOTHER USED TO USE THE MACHINE IN THE THIRTIES TO MAKE QUILTS ON WITH THE OTHER LADIES IN THE TOWN. It is in a oak cabinet an has a serial number: 414468. I would like to know how much it is worth. I even have measuring tape with domestic  name on it. I know for a fact this machine came from Berry. The Cabinet has some scratches on it but could be easily fixed. If you would like to see more picture let me know.

Answer
Hello Carmen,
Sorry but the domestic, full-sized sewing machines are outside of my expertise. When it comes to sewing machines, I am only an expert on the antique small toy or miniature collectible variety.
If you read back through past Q & A's you will however find links to websites that may be of interest to you.  Please resubmit your query to an expert who deal with the full sized domestic sewing machines.
Thanks.
Irene

Expertise

I have been a collector of antique sewing tools and thimbles for over 30 years. I am also a dealer in this field and sell on eBay under the name -- serengeti2. I am NOT, and I repeat NOT an expert on antique or vintage domestic household sewing machines used for everyday home sewing. I can offer help when it comes to TOY or miniature collectible sewing machines ONLY.
