Question
I have an old child's sewing machine owned by my mother as a child. It is called a Victoria Sewing Machine - No. 48-900.  Made in Germany.  I would guess my mother received it in the 1920s.  The box has an M over a W on it. (Montgomery Ward?)  The instructions has a symbol between The ______ Victoria-Sewing Machine.  It is wings with an E.P. below it.  I will try to send you a picture of the machine and the instructions if it helps.  I am curious if it is of any value in today's antique market. What do you think it is worth?

Expertise

I have been a collector of antique sewing tools and thimbles for over 30 years. I am also a dealer in this field and sell on eBay under the name -- serengeti2. I am NOT, and I repeat NOT an expert on antique or vintage domestic household sewing machines used for everyday home sewing. I can offer help when it comes to TOY or miniature collectible sewing machines ONLY.
