ANSWER: Hi Jerri

I try and try to avoid these soda vending questions, and the more I try, the more questions I get? I guess I have to start learning more about these soda machines. I am trying to help those who ask, even after I post in my expertise that soda machines are not my expertise, but Jerri, your one of the Lucky ones, as I found two models of the V-144 but now comes the problem. Which one do you have? because they're different in the coin acceptor area and one is a manual machine, "pull a lever to get a pop", and the other is automatic, "no Lever" so which one do you have? Let me know and I'll post a photo and value for it, just for you Jerri <<<Stop>>> lets gamble here a little and I'll post a photo and value of the manual model, just in case I am Clairvoyant to some degree. So see if this is it, and if not let me know and we can go for the other one.

Thank you

ANSWER: Hi Jerri,

Well I guess we don't want me to pick our lottery numbers! So much for a 50-50 percent guess. If it lets me post another photo here, I'll post the Automatic Model. If it doesn't show up just email me and I'll send it to you. Jackpot7@q.com

Thanks Jerri

Hi Jerri,

BINGO, found it! Thanks for the photo, that was all I needed. See attached information and value, if you click on my photo you can print this out for your records. Yours is the early model Vendo V-144 with the red top and yellow "refresh yourself" sign. This machine is a monster at 450 pounds! Did you pick this up and move it yourself? It vends 144 bottles and has storage to pre cool 87 more. Made in the 50's, and has a fully restored value of $1,250.00 and a average condition value of $225.00. This should answer all your questions on it Jerri, thanks for sending the photo!

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
