Question
I have a Challenge sewing machine model number 153.272 serial  number 08678.  It's in mint condition how much is it worth?

Answer
Hello Renee,
Your little sewing machine is somewhat rare. It was made by the Royal Sewing Machine Company and it dates to around 1870.
I am sorry but without physically seeing you machine or extremely detailed photographs (you have not included any)it is not possible for me to give you a valuation.
For valuations you could try contacting Alex I Askaroff at this website:

Expertise

I have been a collector of antique sewing tools and thimbles for over 30 years. I am also a dealer in this field and sell on eBay under the name -- serengeti2. I am NOT, and I repeat NOT an expert on antique or vintage domestic household sewing machines used for everyday home sewing. I can offer help when it comes to TOY or miniature collectible sewing machines ONLY.
