I have had this unit since about 1975. bought it from Tom Kunkle for $ 1,000.00, just curious as to value today. I can't see leaving it to the kids, they place no value on these type of things. thanks for your info, R P Miller

Answer
Hi Ross,

Good Investment, it's worth about $3,200.00 to $3,800.00 in todays market. Strange looking vendor doors on this machine, they could be off a different model of Watling. You do not see those lines above the vendor windows on regular Roll-A-Tops, So these vendor doors could be off a checker board Walting or something else, but its a Gold Award Model and it looks good. I can't see the Top of the machine but if it had the skill stop buttons and it was a working skill top machine it could bring more. Your machines biggest fault is the vendor doors and that it is a dime machine, but that is mostly a personal choice with buyers. Nice Machine Ross! This is called the Watling Coin Front, with Gold Award, Roll-A-Top machine. When you say Tom Kunkle, could this be Tom Krahl of Antique Slot Machine Part Co.? It's too bad for the kids that they don't show a real interest in this baby, she is the Top dog of most of the slot machine models you see. Thank you for sharing the photo Ross.

Thank You

Sincerely

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
