Question

Buckley criss cross
Hi,

My husband has bought a Buckley Criss Cross, and is now restoring/rebuilding it.

We've bought the coin slot guides #01, #15 and #25.
These booklets were very helpful except for the guaranteed jackpot.
But, in none of them is the working, the (re)assembling, or troubleshooting covered.

Could you please tell us where we can find documentation on the working and troubleshooting of the guaranteed jackpot in a Buckley.

Thank You

Answer
Hi Cindy,

Very nice looking Slot Machine, he did a great job on it. Buckley machines are a copy to the mills machines, so Mills manuals will work perfect on this machine. The reserve jackpot is a little complicated, but with a little work can and do were very well. The best manual for this which shows many photo's of the jackpot and how it works, can be found at:

http://jackpot7.freeyellow.com/page21.html

And look for this manual when you get there:

Mills Slot Machine mechanical repair and fully illustrated Manual, The Big One! This is a large manual with lots of mechanism photo's and information. You will be very happy with this manual, nothing better out there.

This is a great manual and you will not be sorry if you order it.

Thank You
Sincerely

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
