Question
Hi, I have been trying to find a picture of the cute little old antique sewing machine that I bought at an estate sale. I want to restore it so I can display in my home. It has The Whippet written on the front top part. It is made by New Home. It is R -75885. The motor is labeled Westinghouse Electric Mfg. Co. It is in a cabinet and came with all the bells and whistles. Thank You

Answer
Hello Susan,
I am sorry that I am not able to be of assistance to you.  My expertise is in antique collectible toy or salesman sample sized sewing machines and not the full-sized household models.
Please look back into my file and you will find many links to sites that might be of assistance to you.
Regards,
Irene

Expertise

I have been a collector of antique sewing tools and thimbles for over 30 years. I am also a dealer in this field and sell on eBay under the name -- serengeti2. I am NOT, and I repeat NOT an expert on antique or vintage domestic household sewing machines used for everyday home sewing. I can offer help when it comes to TOY or miniature collectible sewing machines ONLY.
