Question
Hi Irene- Along w/ the Jiffy Stitcher- I inherited a Lane cedar chest. Style#481816 serial # 042111 I believe it is an art deco- has lots of different inlay- grains making "v's" on the front. Very beautiful and excellent condition. Any ideas on its worth? Also I got a Singer sewing machine contained in a wooden table- has a leaning door/drawer in front of the cabinet. Its Model # is 15-91 and serial # is AM001401. Any ideas on this? Thanks so much for your assistance--- Melissa

Answer
Hi Melissa,
I have not found anything else re: the Jiffy-Stitcher but I have a few collectors helping on this subject so hopefully we can find a bit more information.
With regard to your Lane cedar chest and the full-sized Singer machine. These are outside of my expertise, please resubmit your query to another expert on these.
Thanks.
Irene

Expertise

I have been a collector of antique sewing tools and thimbles for over 30 years. I am also a dealer in this field and sell on eBay under the name -- serengeti2. I am NOT, and I repeat NOT an expert on antique or vintage domestic household sewing machines used for everyday home sewing. I can offer help when it comes to TOY or miniature collectible sewing machines ONLY.
